Looking for a front left side Defender seat frame. Was about to retrim mine when I noticed I have two right side front seats. Would rather have the proper frame before retrimming them.
I putting a new Autosparks main harness in my 1991 D110 w/200 tdi. I have a thick Brown wire with a smaller gauge brown w/red trace tied into it. This wire comes out of the group of wires that go to the ignition switch. Color coding chart says brown w/red trace is Compression ignition...
I'm stripping out what's left of the main wiring harness. It was damaged by rodents when it sat idle in a field for many years. It's being replaced by an Autosparks harness. I'm very impressed with how well the new harness is made.
This my favorite. I use it in the garage and keep one in the vehicle for emergencies. Works way better than the crap stock jack that came with the defender...
LHD Bulkhead for sale. Came from a Defender configured with 200tdi and LT77 transmission. Bulkhead came from Spain and is in great condition with no major corrosion other than very light surface rust where the paint has thinned and a small area of light pitting in the passenger foot well...
Is anyone on here able to pull the paint color of a Defender from running the VIN? Land Rover did not stamp the paint code on the VIN placards. I'd like to do some touch ups in a few areas and want to make sure I get the correct green.
You just need to rough up the existing paint before applying it. They also sell an adhesion promoter spray. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00397POFC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Any bare metal areas use an etch primer.
I raptor lined the interior in Arles Blue. I was super happy with how easy it was to do and how it turned out. I think it would work great for under the tub as well.
Like Red90 said, check grounds first, then if that does not remedy it...start tracing out wiring. You can get a pretty cheap wire tracer at harbor freight that helps. https://www.harborfreight.com/cable-tracker-94181.html
You should...that's what Land Rover Specifies for the LT77. Dexron ATF II/III. It's in the manuals and I've called Ashcroft transmissions to see what they use and they use the same.
