Agree with this note from @MountainD, I put Jason's Dorman version in three years ago after my fourth Original in 110k miles/25 years. Its been great. Also did the LOF in August - got it from RN. Works great and I did not put in the helper spring on the pedal. My LT77 shifts are cleaner from...
Installed a LOF clutch. The original gen-u-wine throw-out bearing had a plastic center. Apologies to the Gods of originality, I am defaulting to "Let's make things better" as it applies to function and integrity.
Found the problem: Bad Fuel Pump Relay. Replaced with AFU2913L. Page 86 of the Revised Oct 1993 Manual showing the electrical circuit diagram was key to isolating the issue.

Yes updates appreciated. My ‘93 LWB died ytd at a traffic light right after fueling. Cranks fine, no turnover. Fuel pump is 13 months old (185k on odo) Been running like the dream, will post diagnosis
Started as a landscape architect using computer mapping for land development clients; founded a satellite imagery consulting firm and grew it for ten years-mostly routing international pipelines and building environmental data for oil & gas exploration; did a public service stint as the State of...
I guess it makes sense to chum the waters especially now with the ECD $159,000 benchmark. Been over to visit the DutchSafari folks - nice group, very open about their operation and muddy green lemonade drinkers like the rest of us.
I can recommend Ken at Austin Rover Works. Tell your friend to say "Jim Scott" sent you.
I'm happy to field a call to discuss details further. Ken has worked on my Rovers for 20 years - formerly was the lead tech at LR Austin and the guy who worked on Classics and Defenders - He went indy about...
