    Period "Looking" Tires Question

Anyone carry the Rangemaster in the US? When they are in stock that is. I think my spare is the original. Ill have to peel off the cracking cover and check. I do like the M-55s… but they are pricey. When I’m walking in Capitol Hill (which is a lot), I’ve taken to checking out every tire...

    Grenadier

I understand that the reason for a higher rear window line is due to new safety requirements (NCAP, etc.), however, why not bring the rear glass down to match the 1st and 2nd row window line, but have still have a protective structure behind that lower portion of the glass for a few inches. From...

Fuel Lines (Carbs / Frame Mounted Pump & Filter)

I'll give it a try. When I disassembled an original pump/filter assembly, there was a hard, red sealant on the threads of the adapters.

    Grenadier

I only watch Harry for his Land Rover content, but I like it. I saw the Harry's Farm on the Grenadier. What stood out to me is his frustration with how the diff locks function and his seeming unwillingness to learn to use them. He was literally mashing on them. Clearly the Grenadier is not...

Free CLR & LRM Issues pre 2022 (DC)

I'm really sorry Mdubs, I had forgotten that I put them in the front of my house for give away after British Car Day. Someone took the whole box. In DC, if you put anything in front of your house to give away... 9 times out of 10, it disappears. If that doesn't work, it then goes to the...

    Defender prices headed downward

Enjoying this thread... but this is an off topic fun fact: I was reading an article in Legend (LRSOC) about an overland trip that took place in the mid-50's. The team borrowed two 107 PUs from Land-Rover. Upon their return, Land-Rover was irritated at the condition and damage that was done...

    Period "Looking" Tires Question

This is an interesting turn… maybe I should be a little more focused on gas mileage since I have a V8. I have to admit, these KM3 look sexy with all that sidewall… Leaning towards the Falken A/T3.

    Period "Looking" Tires Question

I'm OK with going to an AT or even an MT right now. With an LT95, I won't be doing more than 65. I really like the LTX, I just think it will look out of place on my sliding window one ten. Thanks to everyone for your continued input. It seems that most tires are either a crossover type...

Should I apply sealant to the fuel lines & adapters going into / out of my frame mounted pump & filter. If yes, I assume seal all the threaded connections? I have ARP Thread Sealer on hand.

    Period "Looking" Tires Question

The Cooper AT3s are not a bad option. Are they the LT version? NRC7578s. Tubeless. I never considered tubes. The look of the XZLs are still my favorite (my fingers keep typing XCLs).

Free CLR & LRM Issues pre 2022 (DC)

Anyone want a stack of Classic Land Rover and Land Rover Monthly issues pre-2022? The CLRs go back to 2018ish and the LRMs go back to 2021ish. A few Rovers mags mixed in. Local pickup or I could drop off or meet within a reasonable distance. I’ll be at the British Car Day at Lilly Ponds, MD...
