I totally agree - these are terrible. But where is the line? If you’ve got a 100% original rover rusting away in a field, we would all agree: it’s great - only needs a little TLC - that’s called patina. I have a Lucas. It doesn’t leak at all from the plunger side. It does weep a bit from the zerk fitting (I assume from the remaining pressure) and from the couple of pressure relief valves on top (also probably bc I never remember to immediately relieve the pressure).

I find it very interesting that, other than pictures of freshly swapped LS motors, I couldn't find a single picture on their site of any mechanical/underbody components. It's all exterior and interior pics.
