If you draw a line along the doors (below the window but above the handle) all the way forward to the hood it looks like there are several inches of camo hiding the true line of the bonnet. Just my opinion but if I squint enough I see a classic-ish looking truck under there.
Had similar issue last year. It was due to bad rotor arm. If you have a spare try that first. It’s a common issue. The new red ones at RN are supposed to be better than the oem ones. I just put one it so can’t yet attest to that.
Question for the castle bolt. I torqued it down but I figured I would drive around a bit and re-torque to make sure it’s seated properly. Then Insert the pin. Does that sound correct?
I just installed a new fulcrum today. As mentioned above all nuts were easy to remove One bolt came out easy using an impact driver. The other one I had to saw off the bolt head and remove it that way. It was an easy job until I had to get out the saw. I used a hacksaw would have been much...
Thanks I thought that might be the case. I am confident I could remove and install the bar but the painting I think I would have to outsource. Well it would give me an excuse to do this and the stock brush bar at the same time.
Trying to determine the best way to get rid of this surface rust. Remove and have blasted / painted or is there a way to do it in place? The door hardware was easy to replace so I am hopeful the torx bolts will come off without breaking.
