    New Defender, 2020

It's a got a bit of defenderishness around the midline. Alpine windows and a bit of shape or styling on the bonnet could have added some more visual cues. It's not terrible though. I'd consider it if I was buying a new car. It does remind me more of the LR4 than the defender

GM 292 Straight 6 - Yet another conversion

Would this fit into a series truck sitting on a defender chassis or would it run into trouble with the reduced space at the front of the engine bay

Stock Engine and Drive line angles

So am I putting way too much thought into the vertical position of the engine mounts at this point? Should I just pick a height that gives me the hood clearance I need and deal with pinion angle later? I mean I'm probably quibbling over a couple of inches in possible height adjustment at the...

Stock Engine and Drive line angles

Ah I see so even though it's not a DC shaft it uses the same geometry as one. Mine is about 4 degrees off of pointing at the transfer case

Stock Engine and Drive line angles

Hey guys. I'm getting set to finalize the engine mounts in my project. I've got a lot of uncertainty around the Drive line angles and transfer case output angles that's making me gunshy about locking in the vertical position of the engine mounts. I think I've roughly simulated the unlaiden...

    Knightsbridge Overland @ Defenders Northwest

Alternately if you have any later d1 seats that I could buy for cheap or exchange I'd be able to make a small road trip to pick up along with the covers

    Knightsbridge Overland @ Defenders Northwest

Mine is a 95. They have a one piece seat back and headrest. Contacted them on it previously and they said they could make them with a possible extra charge if he had to find a seat to make a pattern off of.

    Build thread: 1969 2a 109 SW w/ GM 4.3 v6 on RRC LWB chassis

Its been a bit of a slow winter as far as work on the project. Tripping over too much stuff in the garage and weather not well suited to driveway work. I did get a couple of things sorted however. The previous owner had let me know that the series brake booster wasn't quite cutting it so I...

Spy Shot Of Defender? Dec. 1

Didn't they state in the article that the bodywork is a mix of existing bits just to cover up the chassis and get it on the road... Or maybe that was another article

    Build thread: 1969 2a 109 SW w/ GM 4.3 v6 on RRC LWB chassis

More messing about with seats today. Looking at fitting my D1 front seats. It'll match the set with the rears and I'll at least know what seats it is that I have. I find the current seats reasonably comfortable but I cant figure out what they are exactly which poses a problem for getting the...
