I just plugged the 1993 RRC LWB into the Google inflation calculator: $106,344.18. Yikes!

To each their own... I wouldn't spend $96,340.00 for a Dodge Ram 1500 or look at a base price Braptor at $90,035.00. The Grenadier at least has the aura of quality. Granted, within 15 seconds of looking at the first one I saw in person, I focused in on rusty hardware. Insert eye roll emoticon...

    1997 NAS 90 vs. 1993 NAS 110

Good show! I am super jealous... on two accounts. ;)

    1997 NAS 90 vs. 1993 NAS 110

I guess the only thing I can contribute that hasn't been said (or at least I don't think so) is that the NAS110 has a lot of 'driveline slack.' I've owned two and didn't think they were nearly as much fun to drive as my NAS90s (of which I've had four). I currently have an '86 110 and just sold...

I make these comments with sincerity and among friends... my only negative observation so far is seeing a whole lotta' rust when I viewed in person. Rusty bolt heads; rusty components. The TFL video showed unpainted hubs that were rusty (in dry Colorado). Reminds me of 1993 NAS 110s on the...

The place in Framingham just got their dealer license a week or so ago and were 80 deliveries behind. 'Only' 7 backed out.

I'm getting on in age, but if memory serves correctly, it was June or July of 1992 when I saw the NAS 110 in person... at the last Rovers North Rally that I believe was held. The prototype was shown to the North American public for the first time. Later, in the Fall of 1992, I brought my 1970...

I've said this before, but not on this site... prior to the pandemic, I did 30,000 miles/year of driving within Vermont. The State enacted a 'handsfree' law that began to gain some traction during 2019. Then the pandemic happened and for the first couple of weeks, I'd go for long walks...

Request for help locating an LT85 (rebuilt or parts)

My 12,000 original mile LT85 has blown up... looking for leads on a good used unit or someone who might be able to rebuild for a reasonable fee. Thanks!

Really happy for those who followed through... they look fantastic. Makes me wonder if you're experiencing the same satisfaction as those early '87 RRC owners. Enjoy - and Happy New Year!

2001 Audi A4 2.8 manual with rare cloth sports seats

Here's a couple of links to postings online. A sweet ride that is in 'known condition' and ready to go. Happy to provide references to buyers of past Land Rovers. https://vermont.craigslist.org/cto/d/burlington-2001-audi-a4-28-with-cloth/7696994102.html...

Anything else on your radar? I passed in favor of a Rivian and further improvements to my '86 110 for some of the same reasons - but, primarily the result of a significant reduction of my commute.

Wild! I didn't think they were offering the color wrap... did this get added back into the list of options?

As with the closures at Moab, the DUIs of the world, and distracted driving, it's the few bad actors who make it worse for the rest of us. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the speed limit tech is the result of the auto insurance lobby getting into the ears of legislators around the world...

What have you done to your DEFENDER today?

I had it for 30,000 miles over the span of 30 months (bought in May, 2021) and it was the 78th automobile I've owned, so I will reiterate: one of the very best vehicle experiences I've ever had.

What have you done to your DEFENDER today?

I sold it*. See my posting on the Grenadier thread. * my '22 Defender 110, I mean... which to many of you is not a "Defender." But to me was one of the very best vehicle experiences I've ever had.

Off-topic, but certainly related... after 30 blissful months, I sold my '22 Defender 110 in favor of a Rivian R1S. It's been three days and I may well have made a costly mistake. Don't get me wrong - the Rivian is incredible in many regards. However, there is ZERO comparison for road feel (to...

    Silly Stupid Winch/Bumper Question

The only 8274s I've seen in person required cutting into the grille... which would be further complicated with an NAS110 or ROW that has the same air conditioner nose. The image above looks like a nice, tidy install. Given the lack of availability of the Husky, this sure would be a sweet setup...
