    ECR BeachRunner on BAT

The complaints about the BR are jokes right? I'd love to see someone 'slap together parts' to make a NAS 110 Soft Top that looks as nice.

I think that depends if you're sitting closer to the floor (car) or in an upright position (truck). The L322 had the same throttle pedal as the Grenadier, but Land Rover has put hanging pedals in most of their vehicles, including the L405. The Freelander 1 pedals are hanging and are compatible...

Here's one thing I think Ineos could improve on the Grenadier. I think a hanging throttle pedal would be better than a floor mounted pedal. It appears they took a parts bin BMW car pedal, but there are hanging pedals that could work. It looks like this Bosch Motorsport one would work. Based on...

I've been thinking about going down there. I'd be down to plan a trip with anyone on a nice day to check them out. Also, I understand most people like driving fast, but it would be interesting to see what the MPG would be on a highway trip over a few hundred miles going 45-50 mph.

I watched the video also and wondered if he's a forum member (here or the other forum). I'm interested to know if it does achieve 19-20 mpg once broken in. I plan to get a Grenadier eventually, probably the Quartermaster, but there are some things I think they could improve. I'd like to see a...

And you know they're requiring breathalyzers and driver monitoring on 2026 cars right? The car will be able to turn off if it thinks you're drunk or distracted. Seems like a good idea, but it's government overreach.

I've read a little bit on the Ineos forum and it looks like the biggest issue someone is having who took delivery are warning beeps from the ADAS system. Hard to say if they'll issue a software update to allow it to stay permanently off because the owner's manual says it's automatically...

Maybe the steering damper on there is a little weak. Maybe try a stronger one or return to centre type?

The CARB EOs are live. Certified for 2023 and 2024 model years. Quartermaster pickup also certified for 2024 model year. 2023 A‑518‑0001 A‑518‑0001‑1 2024 A‑518‑0002 The EPA's Document Index System (DIS) now shows Ineos Automotive Ltd. in the list of manufacturers, but no documents show up in...

They claim what they care about is vehicle emissions, but they don't really. It's about power/control and money. A big bureaucratic mess.

That's great news about the EPA certification. I'm excited to hear back from the EPA. I did hear back from CARB (I sent them an email also). They said they have no documents available yet, but to check the website periodically for when they do show up.

I noticed Ineos has not yet received emissions certification from CARB. At least, there is not yet a publicly available executive order document. It might show up listed under BMW. For example, the Toyota Supra with the B58 (engine family RBMXV03.0B5X) is listed under BMW A‑008‑0596. There is...

It looks like that stuff is due to government regulations. NHTSA is making emergency braking required on all new cars and most automakers are equipping it voluntarily on almost all vehicles by the end of the year. It's unfortunate that it isn't possible to sell a basic no-nonesense vehicle in...

    Grenadier

Why do you think the Grenadier is rated for 14-15 mpg? I thought the BMW engine was fairly fuel efficient. The X7 with the same engine is rated 21 mpg city / 25 mpg highway and it has a similar weight (maybe a few hundred pounds more for the Gren). Even the Cullinan with the V12 is rated 20 mpg...

    TD5 ABS Retrofit

I was looking at bulkhead harnesses to see what's available from Land Rover still and I noticed there are 300Tdi harnesses equipped with ABS (except they're now NLA), so ABS did come from the factory on some 300Tdi Defenders. I also noticed that the ABS ECU expects an engine speed signal that...

    What coolant/antifreeze is best? 300tdi

The Land Rover coolant is a Glysantin G30 OAT coolant. It’s like the coolant used by VW. The newest stuff is HT-12 pink Si-OAT and should be mixable with the Land Rover coolant since it’s similar to VW’s coolants, but you’ll probably want to double check. There is also HT-12 green. That’s for...

I’ve been trying to follow what’s been going on with the Grenadier launch. There’s a lot of info on this Grenadier forum: https://www.theineosforum.com/ It looks like lots of customer Grenadiers have been delivered to dealers in Europe, but are waiting to be delivered to customers to polish out...

    ARB bumper lights?

Here are the Hella lights in amber and clear. The clear lens has an amber insert that is glued in, so it cannot be removed. You’ll need an aftermarket lens if you want clear for DRL.

    83+ paint codes

Maybe; no way to know for sure without a photo or if someone has seen it and can confirm. The paint color on the Lotus is nice too.
