Well, the light bulb (okay, it's an led) fell into the gauge. I shook it and rolled it around for 20 minutes before saying what the heck and carefully opened it.
Yep, the bulb fell right out & I slid the cover back & tightened...gently... the retaining nuts.
Plug it back in & back in the...

I've never heard of this stuff...
Seems to be a concern that the old standby copper / aluminum stuff could encourage galvanic corrosion.
Well surprise, surprise! Something fell on my foot while driving home & turns out it was the spring that pulls the clutch pedal up!
I don't think there's anything magical about it, so I'm off to the hardware store to look for a replacement ;)
This is at least 2nd or 3rd hand info, but a local (Des Moines) buddy picked this up today
It's supposed to be a take out by Monarch Defender in Ames, IA.

I have no idea what they're worth...lets start at $450 for the set...I'll deliver to the local Fastenal (50322) ... you pay the freight.
They're the tires (including the spare) that were on the Perentie when it showed up at my house.

I replaced it with a stainless one from SDO - thanks Jason ... no, you don't get that one :)
No, the photo isn't reversed, it came on the Perentie (RHD)
Posting on the D-source site too.
Thanks
Keith
Any chance one of you folk is running from NYC (okay, mid-long island) west toward Iowa?
There's a Perentie that needs to change home addresses ;)
Thanks
Keith
