I've had a few friends register trailers in PA, and it can be a real pain without a registration. One guy built one of those aluminum Yakima trailers, and the State rode him hard until he made changes to it. With a bill of sale, maybe you can simply get it inspected and registered if...
Simple is a relative thing, but having just done this, yes it’s about that straightforward.
A few tips I recommend, depending on the videos you’ve watched.
1. Bleed the master on the bench. Choose your style, but I use a syringe to push fluid back up from the bottom.
2. Install master and...
Any chance someone has a spare laying around you'd be willing to part with? It's the missing link I need to finish the steering portion of my 109. No wheel needed. Thanks.
I'm looking at the possibility of re-gearing my 109 build, so does anyone have a lead on a 3.54 ring and pinion as the title indicates? The carrier isn't necessary but I would likely take it if available. No hurry on this as it's only a "barely" rolling chassis right now. Thanks.

Nothing fancy on the bulbs. I think I got something from Autozone that fit, no need to spend big $. The leds preserve the tape; the wrong incandescent bulbs bake them, which is what I (and maybe you) had.

I have a set of those Nilight clamps (or at least something that looks exactly the same), and the inner threads stripped out fairly quickly. They're nice, but they never gave me a bombproof feeling despite being really solid aluminum.
I still stand by my vote for out. It’s all personal preference. It wouldn’t work on my wife’s Pilot, but rovers have the ability to look right (almost) no matter what. I would even go for red letters or trim if it was the right tire for the job. But then, I always loved Hot Wheels cars and I...
Try looking at your wires in the dark with the engine running. If, like me, you’ve pulled on them several times while investigating, you may find them damaged. The lightning show you may see will be evidence of bad wires. I was having similar issues after a bad distributor, and the damaged...
Thanks for the continued upkeep and quick turnaround on issues like this. It's easy for us to take all your behind the scenes work for granted, so thanks again!
That is good news indeed! I had heard vague murmurs at a few garages a few years back that it might be coming, but I couldn't imagine the State rescinding something as lucrative as testing old vehicles...
Thanks for doing the homework on that. Bonus!
