    Ready to Sell ...?

This is exactly what nas90tdi did. After rebuilding his yellow NAS 90 at 8 years old and then more recently put a significant amount of work into a 200TDi Tith... he sold the Tith to a guy in AK and picked up an LJ78. Wanted to spend less time and money wrenching. I'm having the exact same...

    New Defender, 2020

Had a guy almost argue with me that my truck had a Ford engine. Told him several times that it was a Buick block... but he kept saying, "No... I think it's a Ford engine." This was in '99 or something.

    New Defender, 2020

This. I keep trying to pull an emotional tie out of my system to this new truck... I can't find any attachment. I should feel all tingly after looking at it, like the first time I saw a Rover or my first kiss... instead... I feel hungover, without a coat in Alaska (or some place freakin cold).

    New Defender, 2020

I feel like I'm going through Land Rover psychological stages that have gone undocumented for years... 1) Excitement: "A new Defender is coming to the US!!!" 2) Worry: "What if it is not X, X and X? (maybe add a few more Xs)" 3) Anger: "I can't believe JLR is so blind! They don't care about...

    Ready to Sell ...?

I'm with you RBBailey... feeling down about my 110... I'll think... oh... I'll get the new Defender, sell the 110 and get an '88 to tow to events... that was yesterday... today I brought a package of parts to ship and be plated... I'm on the forums... thinking positively... the thought pops into...

    Upper Link / A-Arm Reassembly

This exactly the process I needed to confirm my research. Just to confirm, actual hand tightening using hands and no wrenches. Also, the order of torquing what is hand tightened does not matter, just the preload requirement, correct?

    Upper Link / A-Arm Reassembly

Soon I will be at the stage of reinstalling the upper links and chassis brackets. The 110 is in one piece, so I don't have access from the top of the frame. Is it easier to: 1) Install the chassis brackets to the frame first, then install the upper links? or 2) Attach the upper links to...

    Sightings

LOL! I have thought of that from time to time. Or the axe and paddle grabbing and ripping off every branch and vine it comes in contact with! It's a nice graphic.

It's a Howler Bros hat (https://howlerbros.com/ ). I think this is the older colorway... there is a light blue version too. They don't seem to have it as a current item. I found it in stock or at least it appears to be in stock on these sites...

Defender 127 Project - ?The Excellent?

Ooohhh... early square rear doors! I think these early frames were extended 110 frames. If early enough, I think the radiator surround said Land Rover 110 and the VIN breaks out to 110.

    Rear Brake Upgrade

On a side note GBR Bill over on BaT stated: "People obsess about changing the rears to disc although I discourage customers from doing this unless they plan on taking the rigs to their local track days which of course no one does as a participant! I do encourage folks to upgrade the fronts to...

    New Defender, 2020

Here is the JLR media pack. Contains a hi-res image of the "Tusk" truck. It's super photo-shopped. Window sill trim and rear quarters don't resolve at points. The hood lines appear to be accurate. The mirror just floats on the glass window...

    New Defender, 2020

I swear the front end has been photo-shopped. There is something weird going on there that is still hiding the final design. I think the whole photo has been doctored only point out a few of the design queues. While I like some of the things I see... you can't sell it with that front end...
