    Rockware Bumper w/Warn 8274

Good price on the bumper, that should go fast. Might be worth noting that it won't work with an extended grille, although anyone wanting an 8274 probably isn't a casual owner and should know the difference.

    NAS 90 #407

Don't be fooled, we're all idiots. Rear was a little bit more of a challenge than I would have thought when I started plotting things out. The narrow frame rails make it tricky to get enough triangulation without running a shorter link. ~10 degrees per link is about as much as you can get on...

Yeah. hurry up. I need inspiration to finish mine. What’s your plan for rear suspension geometry?

Width, or really lack of, is probably the biggest drawback with the 80 axles. They’re a great option for a mild-ish truck if you want a near bulletproof solution but a wider track width really opens up a lot of breathing room when you start running bigger tires and longer travel suspension.

You’re in for a really fun time trying to find room for links with that LS lol. The Cummins exhaust dumps on the passenger side so the entire drivers side frame rail is clear and there’s heaps of room for an upper. You may want to consider something like a parallel four link or a modified...

Yeah, and with that tiny amount of tube on the passenger side you need to package a link bracket, panhard bracket, bump pad, sway bar endlink and coil over mount. Personally I’d throw the shock tabs up on the C to get some angle to the shocks and free up some room. Keep in mind with a 3 link you...

    Misc parts bundle-$150 shipped

Beyond standard hand tools, my Power Probe is probably the single most useful tool I own.

I could give a shit about cutting up a NAS, that comment was solely in the context of time, complexity and expense. 10-12" of fully usable travel front and rear is attainable with coil springs, so unless you really need the tunability that coilovers offer, I do see them as unnecessary on a...

I'm at 67.5 and specifically chose these AEV wheels because of the 5.3" BS they offered (most are 3.5"-4.5"). The stance would start to get silly with anything less in my opinion. There was also no room to clear a standard coil spring without running really tall perches, which forced me to go...

Similar concept with what I did. HP JK44 (8.9") center section, 35 spline carrier and all KP60 wheel end components. A 60 center forging is massive and, weight aside, it starts getting crowded quick if you're prioritizing a low ride height. Another thing to consider is width...proportionately a...

You might be able to redrill the hubs, but the last time I looked there was one 17" wheel available in the Rover pattern and that's where all the good tire sizes are. 8 lug will set you free.

    Heavy Duty Radiator

I think there's a deeper discussion here about conservation and the impact that hardcore wheelers like Gerken have on the environment. Cross-axled, open diff wheelspin, especially on baby sized staircases that a Subaru could walk up, is not reflective of the Tread Lightly® pact we all swore as...

    Heavy Duty Radiator

I think reasonably air tight is good enough. The Ron Davis radiators I use just have a simple foam strip around the perimeter to help seal, but there are air gaps present. Ideally you want all of the air entering the core to exit through the fans, but some bleed is probably inconsequential...

    Heavy Duty Radiator

Shroud should make a big difference given what you described. Our radiators are a pretty odd size so the likelihood of finding something drop-in is quite low. It's a simple fab project though, surely someone can build you one for cheap if you don't have the time to design something yourself. I...

    Useful Cummins R2.8 conversion parts

Embarrassingly, I haven't even finished my build. I do believe you'll have codes though...Cummins actually makes a 'sulfer tolerance kit' for these engines, and within the instructions is a bulletin for calibrating the ECU to operate with the emissions components removed. You should be able to...

    Rockware clone bumpers...

Here's a quick side profile with the grille panel in place. Without wings mounted it's hard to really gather much, but the AC bumper sticks out a full 3" further than the non-AC. I just increased the bend angle slightly to close out the gap to the edge of the wing, and honestly I think it adds a...

    Rockware clone bumpers...

Putting this out to see what kind of interest exists among the community. This started off as a personal project to build an 8274 compatible Rockware style bumper for my 110, but since Matt is no longer around I figured there may be other guys in my position that appreciate the styling and...

Warn Zeon 10-S on the "cheap"?

Interestingly, Britpart is a killer source for the ARB compressors. The dual motor compressor is around $620 retail anywhere stateside, but I can buy them from BP for $403.
