Trekworks Black A4-80 Stainless Lug Nuts

I don't think that is the case. Typically the lug nuts deform due to rust buildup on the steel portion of the lug under the aluminum cap. They also get somewhat mangled from 12pt sockets, but rust is the big one. When I worked at the dealership in Santa Monica, it was rare to see the swollen or...

    28 x 40 Garage Build...WWYD

I'm definitely in the minority in a shop, but I'm team air. I bought my tool box used, full of tools in 2008. My Snap On air ratchet still works great. I can't say the same for any battery powered tool I've bought in the past 20 years. Even one of the batteries in my Hilti drill is shot due to...

    Coolant Leaks 2016 LR4 SCV6

I'm probably the wrong person to ask because I've probably done hundreds of these. You should be able to do it over a weekend if you don't run into any issues. The worst part is going to be the rear crossover pipe. The warranty time to do all of that work is probably around 6 hours or less if I...

    300tdi head corrosion

No I don’t think it really matters. Given the low price of a new head vs the cost of machining, combined with the risk of the head being cracked from over heating, I always just do a new head. I have not noticed any performance difference. I haven’t priced one out in a while but I thought the...

    300tdi head corrosion

300 Tdi heads are pretty affordable and shouldn't be machined. I usually just replace the head with one of those high flow AMC heads when I'm doing a head gasket on one.

You only have to remove the line that goes over the supercharger.

    Coolant Leaks 2016 LR4 SCV6

I would definitely do this work asap because these motors will blow a head gasket very quickly when low on coolant. The front pipe is pretty easy to do. You basically unbolt the supercharger and lift up the front of it while leaving it mostly in place to gain access to the lower outlet pipe...

    200tdi Block Pitting

Technically you shouldnt be decking a 300 Tdi head in the first place. I would buy a new head before decking the block.
