Thanks all, will try the drop. Checked grounds but will check again. I'm hearing and feeling the click at the starter solenoid when ignition is turned. Maybe the relay isn't putting out enough voltage?

I'm experiencing what I think is a heat soak related issue. 2.8 tdi, replaced the starter/solenoid twice, replaced the battery cable. Starter solenoid attempts to activate (single click) when ignition is engaged. But I get no starter action. This happens very randomly and only when the truck...
