    Is the oil clean\clear or black and dirty ? Oil leaks are easy, Trace forward and up until you find the source. With a military 2.5 natural oil tends to come from every possible source if the trucks are run @ highway speeds. Only engines I've seen that leak worse than a 2 stroke Detroit.

    Agreed, like most modern diesels, the ecu asks for cooling when it wants it. As long as your fan isn't running a lot, the system works. Ran into a fellow from Texas @ Ouray with an r2.8 in a Classic and he was having both cooling and 6L80e issues.

    It strikes me as funny you are asking this given your builds Oliver. My vote is the Cummins with a manual trans. Pulls the Eastern range grade to the Eisenhower in 5th like it's child's play. With the Cummins you don't need to use that " nearest fuel station" app on your phone.

    5200 is a one and done product, thicker doesn't make it better. Recently fixed broken front plastics on a 400 Yamaha Big Bear. glued mesh to the back side for strngth. Turned out awesome

    You will need a gems manual flywheel a very very rare part.or modify your existing flywheel to work with the gems flywheel sensor
