    Clutch

Agree with this note from @MountainD, I put Jason's Dorman version in three years ago after my fourth Original in 110k miles/25 years. Its been great. Also did the LOF in August - got it from RN. Works great and I did not put in the helper spring on the pedal. My LT77 shifts are cleaner from...

What have you done to your DEFENDER today?

Installed a LOF clutch. The original gen-u-wine throw-out bearing had a plastic center. Apologies to the Gods of originality, I am defaulting to "Let's make things better" as it applies to function and integrity.

Starter pos wire from engine fuse box drains battery 2.8amp

Found the problem: Bad Fuel Pump Relay. Replaced with AFU2913L. Page 86 of the Revised Oct 1993 Manual showing the electrical circuit diagram was key to isolating the issue.

Starter pos wire from engine fuse box drains battery 2.8amp

A new Lucas. It replaced a Magneto Marelli. If I wasn’t influenced by the desire to adhere to originality I’d check out SDOs high torque option.

Starter pos wire from engine fuse box drains battery 2.8amp

Been on the NAS110 electrical world tour and after installing a new starter, the Defender is sucking 2.8a from the battery. Checked all four wires going to the solenoid and the culprit is the one from the engine fuse box. Additional info - I just installed SDO's push-to-start. migrated the four...

Got a check engine light and the display is code 20. I'm not seeing this in the list of standard codes. Does anyone know this and the issue?

    Safety Devices L274 Sliders (?)

The original NAS side runners giving way to the rust gods. Anyone looked into the Safety Devices L274's? These are a highly engineered solution designed for legit crawling protection. I'd like to see if anyone has installed these and could share a detailed photo. Attached is from the SD website.

    Thinking out loud - steering...

You can also start from the steering wheel and work your way to the suspension. My steering shaft u-joint (as Red90 listed) just past the firewall, was the culprit.

Jalopnik - Nice Price Crack Pipe - 87 Rangie

I guess it makes sense to chum the waters especially now with the ECD $159,000 benchmark. Been over to visit the DutchSafari folks - nice group, very open about their operation and muddy green lemonade drinkers like the rest of us.
