Greek Peak 2023

The 50th at the same location, had around 340 vehicles (I organized it but don’t recall the exact number off the top of my heads).
It’s the 75th anniversary, and there are a ton more vehicles out there.

I went to this event 24-ish years ago -- it was very "campy" -- in a good way -- and a total blast!

We(RN) are sponsoring the trail signage. We'll be designing them just like ski slope trails to mimic the mountain signage. They will be green circles, blue squares, black diamond, and double black. To avoid congestion, we have been discussing assigning limits(of trail difficulty) per vehicle pending a vehicle walk around, identified by a sticker on the front windscreen.
Great idea(s)

Saw this on BB’s FB page at a recent event where similar idea was implemented:

I dont think our sticker will be that big haha, but yes it's important to set expectations. No winch? Street tires? No recovery points? We need to keep these trucks off the harder trails.
Agreed for sure. Those stickers were large no doubt! The recon pics I saw by Jeff showed how nice the area is. Hopefully my Lab pup will be mature enough for us to join the event.

If anyone knows how to change the title of the thread, let me know.

Just report your opening post and admins can fix it.

Zach’s concern about congestion is real. We didn’t have too many trails at the 50th. They were all easy ones. One negative result of that were people leaving the site. NY state fined ANARC several thousand dollars as a result.

Doesn’t surprise me. Had to live in NY for a few years and couldn’t wait to move. There were some positives as lived close to the Gunks yet overall the State is just too restrictive for me.

$250 for a truck and driver. $50 for each passenger. $40 for adults for the dinner, $20 for kids.
Given the location and the organizational costs to pull it off seems reasonable especially with the proposed program and hopefully the primitive camping sites availability / desirability. We like to camp large. 😁

Honestly with the Vermont Overland events in the $350+ range to camp on the owner's property and provide nothing but class 4 maps, this is a steal.
