Spring run of panels is coming together. The LED option seems to be a popular ad on. Of the last 10 panel's only 2 have been non LED. (I actually had to wait on a backorder of the lights in the last group, so now I have stocked up!)

PM or post if you are interested in getting on this run.

Just a heads up that there will be a pause on panels through the summer, and possibly into the fall. After spending our whole lives in Vancouver BC, my wife and I sold our house and are making the move with our 2 sons to the rural life in the Comox Valley. It's on Vancouver Island, (a 1:45 minute ferry trip and a 1 hour drive from Vancouver) great rural location 10 minutes from the town of Courtenay.

We are looking forward to getting away from the city to acreage, and I am really looking forward to the 2000 square foot shop! (the 2 car garage shop is getting a little cramped!). It's a blank canvas, so it's going to take a bit to get all my machinery and power set up, I'm thinking early fall, as we are moving July 31.

Meanwhile, I have a couple orders on the go, and production will be running through the first part of July. If you are looking for a panel, PM me and I'll get you on the list before I sut down for the move!

Is that your future garage condo? I see plenty of room for projects!

Well done!
I have my hands full filling up this space. My shop is in my 2 car garage right now... in 4 years I have parked in it once!! Drives me crazy leaving my truck out in the rain all the time. Well, now I'll have a 2 car garage AND this shop... (once the shop part is built).

Let me know when inventory is in production again. Looks awesome!
You bet! I'm hoping I can get things started by the end of August.

Anyone that is interested in a panel, just post or PM me and I'll get you on the list. Even if you are a few months off, let me know, it will help me with planning!

It's been busy few months with the move and building out the shop. I have come to the realization it will probably never be finished... Anyhow, the LED highbay lights are up, I've got power, started on the insulation and then decided I would put a 1000sf media room and guest accommodations on the mezzanine. Wood stove installed earlier this week, more electrical work is continuing.

The big news is all the shop equipment is up and running and I am taking orders for the current run of panels. I anticipate this production run to be ready to ship out in late November.

Post or PM with any questions. Glad to be up and working again!

For those that have enquired, (or if you are wanting in on this run) I would like to start production this week, so please confirm your orders! Thanks!

It's been a busy few months with panel orders, and lots of progress on the shop. I've decided to separate the top 1000sf of the barn for the man cave/media room. Front half is mostly insulated now, wood stove is in and of course I need to wire in a descent sound system. Yup, i really wonder if it will ever be "complete".

Last run of panels tis all shipped and I am working on the next group. If you are interested in having a Defender where you can actually HEAR your music, you need to improve your speaker set up, and this is the best option available. Contact me info you are interested in getting in on the current group run.

Have you ever made two piece left & right pods? My 109 has a rear liftgate so teh full width connection will not work. Also, am I correct that the rear roof panel is the same between the Series/Defender roof?

I put a lift gate on a defender with headliner. I just cut the rear trim panel into up three pieces - there enough mounting points to keep it all secure. This is the approach Id use with the speaker panel.

If you could post a couple visuals of the back upper , it would be appreciated, and a big help. I’m pretty sure there’s a way to work it. One more thing, are there anchor points? (4 of them which are normally where the fir trees are to hold the finisher in place). If not, I have had a couple clients that have riveted ones in place. That’s what would hold everything in position.

I’ll probably have a chance to look At a series truck tomorrow to confirm about the roof, unless someone else can chime in with an answer.

Luckyjoe, is this similar to the back of your 109? If so, the roof shape ilooks fine but the obvious is the hinges are an issue with the standard panel. As well you would need mounting points. Not an impossible task to work around, but you would need to install mounting points and provide a whole bunch of photos and measurements. Also, do you have a headliner in the truck?

Just completed a black Alcantara panel with LED's. This one will be shipping out early next week to a lucky client.

The Alcantara is a little more expensive than the standard grey or Genuine Ripple Grey headliner material ($70 additional for material and upholstering) With no stretch in the fabric compared to the others, it's a little trickier to install without seams or wrinkles, but has a amazing look.

Last run is all done and gone.. Next group run has already started coming together, looking for a few more people to join.

If you are tired of tinny sound form small speakers in a really bad location... jump onboard! Game changer.

Yes, mine looks very similar and I would definitely have to measure. I've put this on the back burner until Im driving it again, then I'll re-visit...
