Insurance Shopping - Again

I've been shopping around for agreed value insurance, USAA, Hagerty, AIG, Grundy etc. Grundy just quoted me agreed value on my NAS 110 @ $833.00 per year with $250k/$300k Injuries and $120k agreed value. So far they are way under the others.

Does this sound right and does anyone have Grundy and are they happy with them? Any claims? Problems?

I think the only real downside to Chubb Is that they require a garage. Otherwise you can use the vehicle for anything you want with no mileage limit and you can have it plated as a regular vehicle. Can't commute to work in it regularly.

I've had them now for about 10 years and service has been good.

I think the agent's name is Nicole Marketta x2362

I told them it is garage kept before they had a chance to ask so don't know if that factored in or not. Glad to hear you've had good experience with them.

This is where I am so far with insurance shopping.

Costco partners with American Family (Formally Ameriprise).

$120k agreed value
$ zero deductible theft and collision
$ zero deductible for windshields
$250k/$500K bodily and uninsured liability
$100k property coverage
$100 towing each occurrence
NO OFF ROAD RESTRICTIONS!!!!!!!

I told them no more than 3k miles per year. They have other mileage amounts above that. I keep mine in a garage but don't know if that is a requirement. They offer additional discounts for Anti-theft (disabling switches, active trackers, fire & burglar alarm in the garage).

So far Grundy ($833 but waiting to hear about off road) or Costco Connect ($821) are in the lead.

Haggerty is $2,097.00 , American collectables (USAA) $1,800.00

I'm in rural Maryland so I'm sure that factors in somehow instead of a city.

Make sure the liability limits meet the minimums required by your umbrella insurance policy.
The Grundy/Haggerty approach is often a good deal if you don’t mind mileage limit or other restrictions.

There are within my umbrella limits, thanks!

And the winner is....Costco Connect (American Modern) The yearly premium for me came in $74 less then originally quoted!

They allow off roading (Grundy does not) and have different levels of mileage per year depending upon what you drive. I choose the 3k miles per year. They, like most others, require storage in a garage. If you are a member of Costco, go through Costco's website. There's nothing for agreed value but at one point in the process, you will receive an email to call then you can do the agreed value.
