Finally installed the onboard ARB single compressor. Note: Quick release bumper location is semi permanent. Once Zack comes through with the Camel Brush bar (HD bumper), the quick release location may move (it might move to the rear?). Compressor under passenger seat. Switch center dash.

Removed a bad slave cylinder on a friend's 200tdi 110, couldn't get the hardline section off, couldn't source something locally, so job will continue once he acquires one.

I also helped swap over to a set of Boosts and all-terrains. The old ones will be up for sale if anybody is interested. 4 x Disco spares steelies, 1 defender non-matching steel (I don't have the part number handy) on 5 x 265/75R16 BFG MT KM3s - not sure what he wants for them yet. Located in Philly 'burbs

I was driving and thought I would drop into low range since it had been a while (like a year+), and could not get it to shift. After a bunch of effort, got into low, but it immediately jumped out. Kept trying, but it would not stay. Took it home and lubed the linkage, which was a little crusty. Shifts easily now and stays in gear. So a word of advice; if it have been a while, try shifting your transfer case before you need it and spray lube is your friend.

Replaced the A-frame ball joint with the SDO version. Before pic below. I think I got off pretty easy with getting the old one out. Only had to cut one of the long bolts that holds the carrier to the arms. The clunk when letting off the gas is officially gone.

I also took the opportunity to install Superpro poly bushes to the frame side pivots.

Hello everyone.. I have been meaning to post some pictures but time has gotten away from me. Two weeks ago I had a really busy weekend getting some things done.

I installed a rear tank guard on the 110. I have been waiting to get around to installing this for the past few years and finally went for it. Its a galvanized steel unit. although If I had to get another one, I would go for an Aluminum one. I'm happy the tank was close to empty as it was a bit of a pain to wrestle it all into position but overall not that bad. you don't even really see it from walking around behind it.

After the tank install I felt warmed up enough to mark up the missus's 90's axles and cut off the rotton spring mounts. I'll weld on some new parts before painting it all up. Combating rust on these things is a full time job.

Speaking of which I pulled together some other parts to send for sand blasting before they go back on.

Last bit of spam posting from my weekend dedicated to working on the Landys (sorry everyone and happy easter) I got around to tearing apart and diagnosing the shifter on the LT 77, Man this thing leaked some oil out of the shifters.

After that I got the press out and started installing some new valve guides on the 200 head, I went a little to precise and ended up cracking one of them, so that will come back out and a new one will go in.. when I get the replacment. I hope in the next weeks or months to actually finish the motor build, first time building a diesel and I have to say its really fun.

Received the new chassis for the 90 today. An original GKN, reworked or back dated by Marsland / KDLR and galvanized. complete with original VIN number.. Love it! If it was sunnier you'd need sunglasses just to look at it.

I also have to say that is a top rate packaging job for "international" travel/ shipping.
