Hi Zack,

Am I right to think this will not fit NAS 110 with the A/C extension grille?

Good question, I'm hesitant to answer as I haven't tried myself. Based on how tight the clearance is, I would not assume that it'd fit without the bumper extensions

Hey there Tbache. I just came across this thread. I encouraged Steve Tyler at Brownchurch to make this happen. I'm not sure who Zack is talking to but I'm glad it may happen. I'm in for one (1) for sure!

To answer your question, I had the CT brush bar and HD RN bumper (the same one in the picture) on my '93 NAS 110 a few years back. The set up WILL work with the A/C extension grill, BUT, you have to use a dremel tool or other to grind off the last couple rungs of the plastic grill so the brush bar upright stays will slide back into their appropriate holes. pretty easy with a little finessing. I actually cut off elliptical half moons the size of the radius on the bars and they fit right around the upright mounting bars. Hope that helps.

My only hope is that there are not only room for auxiliary lights and GMRS /cb antennas

Thank you, this was encouraging. Notching the grille is a clever idea. The good part about the Brownchurch bar is the strength. The downside is the welded in mesh. Changing a headlight can be challenging, I know from the past.

Never owned one, so zero experience. Surprised you said strength. I assume with it being bumper bolted on, brush was the best you could hope for running into it.

Ha, likely true. I had yanked the bumper and brush bar off the other two defenders before selling to put back on the new one coming in. Fortunately never had to change the head lamp on either of them. I do kick myself for not keeping the CT bumper set up. Hopefully we will all get new ones soon. what a hoot. Long live CT!

They are strong. A lady in a Suburban turned into mine in a parking lot and it tore up her truck but the only damage to my brush bar was some scraped powder coating.
I wouldn’t want to catch an end on a tree or boulder. Nor would I brace it against either for winch support.
