This is a great thread! Nice project. How do the footwell repair panels from RN install? I'm wondering where you cut on the top, or do they overlap? I wish those were available when I fixed my footwells.

I have no idea - I handed them off to the body shop for install!

Today I took delivery of a Hannibal roof rack and awning. These are sized for a 90, but will fit fine on a 110 as a 3/4 rack. I really like this awning, its really tidy and does not use any supporting stakes. Its a really clean design. Seems to me it could double as a duck blind. :ROFLMAO:

These were originally owned by Woody Woods, and he sported them on #66 while it was in Hawaii. I was fortunate enough to buy them from his son Chris and they will be reunited when the 110 is complete. For now it stores quite well on my 90.

For those who missed it in the Rovers North Magazine, there's an article about Woody Woods, the larger than life one time owner of #66.

Now I know where they got the inspiration for the "Most Interesting Man in the World" commercials. Those were the good'ol days. Cool article, thanks for sharing.

I need to go through my pictures, but I think his son would bring his D90 to Land Rover Santa Monica when I worked there. I remember he brought a box of parts for it that included the plastic spare wheel cover. I was going to buy it from him but realized it wouldn’t work with my tire carrier (lug pattern in the wrong orientation)

That would be cool - I'm in contact with his son Chris, who has done a pretty extensive restoration on his fathers D90 and continues to drive it to this day.

If it’s the same truck I’m thinking of, it was resprayed in a really high gloss on the body and roll cage. I think it was a pretty decent truck though.

You'll note my last substantial update about #66 was way back in the beginning of the year. For those getting up to speed - my post of Feb 23 does a good job of summarizing progress up to now.

Given the current global supply chain situation - things are delayed. Jaguar / Land Rover has been slow to update on the status of my replacement frame, complicating timelines significantly. We're at the six month point since it was ordered, and while I haven't given up on them completely, given our overall timeline - we need a plan B.
