Anyone have new or tried and true online vendors? I’ve had luck with 4wD.com, eBay and DiscountTireDirect.com

Any I’m missing?

Used simple tire for the AT's on the disco, no complaints fast (and free) delivery to the local Firestone depot for fitting.
Significantly cheaper (fitted price) for same tires than anywhere else I could find.
Great if you can wait for their special offers to come up, about same cost as local discount tire if you need them quickly.

I have used TireRack in the past and they offer very good service. They were a great deal when I was stationed overseas. But do some comparison shopping too. Most local tire dealers will price match and by the time you add the cost of shipping and mounting/balancing to the discount price, the local purchase might not be a bad of a deal as you think. My local dealer includes mounting and balancing, so my last two sets of tires have come from them.

Bought a couple of sets of tires from Tirerack, would happily do it again. Did buy some trailer tires on ebay.....They are fine for the job.

I’m a huge discount tire fan. They can cut deals too, but they are nice, fix flats for free, and the ones near me have been great. I appreciate that. And when I’m out and about, its nice running into folks within my community that I’ve worked with. That means something. So if I’m with in spitting distance of price, then I’ll opt for them. If someone else is saving me $50 a tire, that'd be different. But that’s never happened. They just matched a costco price for me, saved me some extra dollars, no sweat...

Another vote for Discount Tire. Great Arizona based company (I can walk to their corporate HQ) and they offer unmatched service after the sale.

One more vote for Discount Tire here as well. I bought our last few sets from them and ordering tires for our Defender tomorrow.

I've had good luck w/ Tire Rack, Discount Tire, Simple Tire and ebay but as of late I have been going to the local guys and most of them will price match anything on on the interweb.

Thanks guys. Keeping my eyes open on a set of KM3’s. Not a fan of the busy sidewall tread pattern compared to my M2’s but I’ll get over it once they get dirty.

Just get 20's and go with low profile. Then you won't see much sidewall....;)

I'm not a fan of the busy sidewall trends either.

Good idea. Let’s bring Spinners back too.

JB, on another note, it’s time to get back to WTG and “mend” some trails. My boys found one tree down on Grassy Ridge but didn’t have a saw.

Looking at getting a set of KM3's as they seem to be the only relatively aggressive radial tire available in 750x16 stock size.
Anyone able to share a photo of the inside to show how smooth it is as have tube rims at moment and would like to use with tubes.
Otherwise will have to find some tubeless rims

Are you guys getting the tire certificates from Discount Tire as well? Just curious what people are doing. I also have only positive things to say about dealing with discount tire.
