If you contact VDO I believe they will set your odometer to the correct reading for your vehicle.
Can Anyone tell me how to set the ODO on a VDO Speedo model 437155. Or where to send it to have it done. I asked Summit Racing where I bought it, they don't know. I have left 2 voice mails and an Email with VDO (nearly a month ago, so before all the closures) and Summit Racing called VDO two days ago for me an they haven't heard back yet either.
yeah I wasn't on the last page when I posted I tried to take down fast but ya beat me to it .....Is it not listed in the post right above yours?
Honestly reach out to Nicols, they told me that they're the exclusive repair/service entity in the states (but also sell them). My speedo was missing a few little things like bulbs, etc and they had all of that in stock. Very helpful people. What’s the best source for VDO stuff now that egauges is gone? Seemed like they did a good job of putting all the info and part numbers in one spot for easy buying, now it seems like lots of places sell a small slice of what you need.
I built my own harness from the speed sensor/plug. Works great, and it really must be an easier way than having to deal with the spinning cable. If you don't have the gauge(s) already in hand, and are like me, you will find that once you are actually holding the gauge, looking at the back of it, it will all become clear. It's an easy switch to the electronic speed sensor.
I've done the same - made the harness. Easy to do and have left it very long until I get some more of the quality spade connectors and covers from British Wiring. Where are folks running the wires? In the location of the spinnning cable (perhaps change those clamps to cushion/adel clamps) or up the middle by the reverse switch wire? seems like that might be the safer bet.
You absolutely can!I appreciate the guide! I can't find Boost gauge 150-1042 in stock anywhere. Any reason I can't go with VDO 30 psi gauge 150 104 and supply my own tubing/adapters?
Honestly, these are really good, maybe even better looking than the vision series. It’s a shame that there are fewer options but I do appreciate that the gauge needles are white, which matches the stock LR ones. I’m willing to try these on my next project no problem.SingleViu is the product that is replacing all the Vision gauges.
